The TPU material is short for Thermoplastic Urethane, or Thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer in Chinese. TPU is a kind of polymer material which is synthesized by the reaction of diisocyanates such as diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) or diisocyanate (TDI) with macromolecular polyols and low molecular polyols (chain extenders) . Its molecular structure is composed of rigid segments formed by the reaction of diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) or diisocyanate (TDI) with a chain extender, and flexible segments formed by the reaction of diisocyanates such as diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) or diisocyanate (TDI) with macromolecular polyols.

Characteristic

1. wear resistance. TPU plastic raw material has excellent wear resistance, more than five times the wear resistance of natural rubber.

3. Tearing performance. TPU has high tear resistance, tear strength is much higher than many commonly used rubber and plastic. 

4. Folding performance. TPU products can maintain excellent bending resistance in different environments, which is one of the best choices of polymer materials. 

5. Hydrolysis resistance. The water resistance of TPU under turbidity is good, and no obvious hydrolysis occurs in 1~2 year, especially the polyether series. 

6. High-temperature resistance and oxidation resistance. TPU has good antioxidant capacity; The temperature resistance can reach 120℃.
